Seeing More Effectively Requires A Systematic Approach
We are bombarded by millions of pieces of data every minute but can only deal with a small percentage. At any given moment you are only seeing as little as 10% of what you think you’re seeing; the remaining 90% is filled in by our brain. This inbuilt coping mechanism can inevitably lead to errors that are caused by bias, assumption, and miscommunication. And these errors can lead to serious injury or death.

This 2-day Foundations of Visual Literacy workshop provides a sound understanding of what visual literacy is, why it matters in our daily lives, how to apply the tools and concepts to your workplace, and its connection to safety. We provide hands-on exercises that will not only transform and enhance the way you look at workplace safety but will help improve your ability to “see” more completely.
